ABOUT CANTINA DI VENOSA
One of the most renowned wineries in the South. Established in 1957, by 27 promoter members, today it has 350 members with an area of approximately 800 hectares, most of it in the Municipality of Venosa which is the largest producer of Aglianico grapes in the Vulture area. Venosa is a city that rises to the north of Basilicata or Lucania and is famous for being the birthplace of Quinto Orazio Flacco, poet of Carpe Diem and of the Madrigalist Carlo Gesualdo Prince of Venosa.
