Verjago Valpolicella Superiore Classico
During the Middle Ages, the name Veriacus was linked to the Negrar Valley. Verjago is an extraordinary Valpolicella where the elegance and warmth typical of this wine, find their true expression. This wine is the fruit of an extensive Quality Project carried out by Cantina Valpolicella Negrar over a number of years. This has led to the identification of the best microclimates and terroirs within the Negrar Valley. The grapes have been carefully selected from hillside vineyards and hand-picked into small crates. They are then left to dry for 40 days in temperature-controlled rooms before vinification. The wine is matured for more than a year in large oak barrels and then for 5 months in bottle. The final result is a Super Valpolicella of great distinction.
